Eid-ul-Adha a popular festival celebrated by Muslims is also known as Bakra Eid that is being celebrated every year will full zeal and enthusiasm. This festival is considered as an important celebration as Eid-ul-Adha merely means “feast of sacrifice” that communicates and tributes the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim who sacrificed his beloved son as in act of submission to Allah’s command.

Every year Muslims all around the world performs Hajj and sacrifice animals in the name of Allah to carry the legacy of sacrificing animals of prophet Ibrahim's as Sunnah. The animals that are sacrificed is being divided into three parts such as family, relatives, and neighbours while the last part is being distributed to the needy and poor.

Like all other festivals celebrated Eid-ul-Adha has its own charm and is celebrated with a lot of parties and gatherings among friends and families especially BBQ parties and dinners. Following are some of the best recipes beef Eid dishes you can enjoy and make this Eid a happy and joyous eve.

1. Beef Nihari


When we talk about the best breakfast for Eid there is nothing better than a Beef Nihari that is absolute love and is loved especially in Pakistan. Nihari is a dish that is made by a stew comprising of slow-cooked meat, usually, the meat used in making nehari is either mutton of beef along with the bone marrow. This dish was first invented in 18th century by Mughal Empire of the last throes and from there it got popular. In the royal kitchens of Awadh, Nihari was prepared regularly and is considered as a sweetheart dish for the foodies of Pakistan.

In order to make Nihari you will need the following ingredients:

  • Beef 1 kg
  • Cooking oil ½ cup
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Green chilli 5 pieces
  • Salt as required
  • White Cumin powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon, Cardamom
  • Black Cardamom, Cloves
  • Nutmeg (Powder) 2 Tsp
  • Red pepper powder ½ tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Fennel powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Flour ½ cup

Method To Cook:

1. Take a pot to pour cooking oil. Cumin and onion and fry it till golden brown.

2. Now add ginger and garlic paste and let it cook until it gets golden brown

3. Afterwards, add beef, and all the spices green chilli, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, cardamom, cinnamon, black cardamom, cloves, nutmeg powder, red chilli powder, and turmeric and let it cook for 5-7 minutes.

4. Now let it cook by adding water in it

5. Afterwards, add roasted flour mixed with fennel and water

6. Now your Beef Nihari is ready to serve

2. Beef Stroganoff


A beef recipe that comes from the snowy peaks of the red army’s homeland that has made its mark in the kitchen all over the world. This beef recipe is something different and tasty to try out this Eid which is named as beef stroganoff recipe.

This recipe is Russain as it consists of strips of sautéed beef that is being served with sour cream and it can be served with boiled rice too. The name of this recipe is derived from the Stroganoff family in the 19th century. This recipe has gained much appreciation from all around the world and now is made with considerable variations from the original recipe.

In order to make Beef Stroganoff you will need the following ingredients:

  • 150 gm Pasta
  • 500 gm Beef boneless (Julian cutting)
  • 4 cups Water
  • Salt (As Needed)
  • 4 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 2 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 & 1/2 cup Hot Water
  • 20 gm Onion
  • 20 gm Mushroom
  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Maida
  • 5 gm Cream
  • 5 gm Parsley

Method To Cook:

1. In a pot, add water, salt, cooking oil, pasta and boil it.

2. In a bowl, add beef, cooking oil, salt, black pepper powder, corn flour, ginger garlic paste and mix it well.

3. Now keep in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

4. In a cooking pan, add cooking oil, garlic and fry until light brown.

5. After that, add marinated beef and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes.

6. Next, add hot water and steam it for 15 to 20 minutes.

7. Afterwards, add onion, mushroom, black pepper powder, Maida and cook it for 3-4 minutes.

8. Now add cream and parsley.

9. Your tasty Beef Stroganoff now ready. Serve it with pasta.

3. Reshmi Kabab


Eid-ul-Adha is always incomplete without bbq. Kababs and tikkas are the most important counterpart of this eid and are enjoyed all around the Country. This kabab recipe is much tasty and is truly delicious as you will indulge in its aroma. This reshmi kabab is a must try for all of you as Eid is always incomplete without kabab. This kabab recipe infuses cream, butter, and soft buttery mixture.

In order to make Reshmi Kabab you will need the following ingredients:

  • 700g Beef Qeema
  • 1/2 cup Coriander
  • 3-4 Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Fried coriander
  • 3 tbsp coconut powder
  • 2 tsp Fried Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp Chickpea powder
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 3-4 tbsp fried onion
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Papaya powder

Method To Cook:

1. Take all the above ingredients in a chopper and chop it really well then place it in a fridge for 15-20 minutes.

2. Now rub water on your palms and take a hand full of Qeema mixture and shape the kabab on a skewer.

3. Pour some oil on the grill and cook the kabab until it gets tenders.

4. Now kebabs are ready to serve with raita and vegetables

4. Bihari Boti


Bihari boti is considered as an obvious dish from Eid-ul-Adha as it is known for its great taste and beautiful aroma. Bhari food is a mixture of Meghai and Bhojpuri cuisine and usually, Bihari dishes are vegetarian but along with this is some really special dishes such as Bihari Kabab and mutton biryani. The other really delicious Bihari recipe is Bihari boti that was first initiated in India and then moved to Nepal, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.

In order to make Bihari Boti you will need the following ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Papaya
  • Salt As Needed
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Red Chilli Crushed
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp Fried Onion
  • 3 tbsp Gram Flour
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 4 tbsp Mustard Oil

Method To Cook:

1. Take a pot to marinate beef and papaya and put it inside freeze for 2 to 3 hours.

2. After marination add yoghurt, red chilli, salt, crushed red chilli powder, gram flour, lemon juice, cumin, turmeric, ginger and garlic paste, fried onion, mustard oil and again keep it inside freeze for at least 2 hours.

3. Bake in oven for 20 to 25 minutes at 170-200 centigrade or you can BBQ it.

5. Beef Pasanday


Beef pasandey is another royal dish that has made its way on our list and is much popular. You might be thinking what pasanday is so we must tell you that pasanday certainly means ”favourite” that directly refers to a prime cut style of meat traditionally used within. Beef pasandey is used to serve at the royal banquet of the Mughal Emperors and is certainly made out a leg meat of lab that are being cut into strips.

In order to make Beef Pasanday you will need the following ingredients:

  • 700g Beef Boneless
  • 1-1/2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • As per taste Salt
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Poppy Powder
  • 2 tbsp Roasted Gram Powder
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • Half cup Cooking Oil
  • 2 Onion
  • 2 tbsp Whole Garam Masala
  • 4 Whole Red Chilli
  • 5g Ginger
  • 5g Green Coriander
  • 5g Green Chilli
  • 5g Mint

Method To Cook:

1. Before starting the marination hit beef with a hammer

2. Afterwards take a bowl to add to beef along with the spices such as red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, black pepper, lemon juice, salt, turmeric, poppy powder, roasted gram powder, yoghurt and mix them well and keep in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

3. Now add take a pan heat cooking out and fry until light brown

4. Afterwards, its time to add whole red chilli, whole garam masala, and marinated beef and let it cook for 30 to 35 minutes

5. Now add green chilli and ginger and let it cook for more 5-7 minutes

6. Now garnish it with green coriander and Beef Pasandey is ready to serve
